DIPLOMA IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT

Introduction

This programme is designed to meet the increasing needs of tourism and related industries by combining the theory and practice to equip students with complete skills. The curriculum includes an understanding of business and culture of the hospitality and tourism industry to prepare the graduates for global employment opportunities.

Admission Requirements (Minimum Qualification)

  • Pass SPM / SPMV or equivalent which is recognised by Malaysian Government
  • Three (3) credits at SPM/SPMV level and a pass in Bahasa Melayu

Core Subjects
Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Industry, Fundamental of Tourism, Introduction to MICE, Guiding Skills Management, Hospitality and Tourism Law, Planning and Design in Tourism, Air Fares Ticketing Management, Cross Cultural Studies, Tourism Product and Destination, Travel information System, Transportation in Tourism and Industrial Training.

2 years 6 months
